SEVEN The woman in Myra’s dream could smell incense burn her nostrils, making her lethargic and nauseous. As she slowly focused her eyes on the circle of candles burning around her, she could taste the vinegar from the gag that was tightly bound in her mouth. Her arms and legs were spread apart and strapped down at her wrists and ankles, which scraped against the damp rough surface when she tried to wriggle free. There was an odor of earth and decay emanating through the room, and when she saw the pentagram appear through the shadows on the stone wall, she began to scream. From out of nowhere, there were hooded, robed figures chanting and moving around her in a repeated circle.
