Chapter 2: Being a hero.

Malia P.O.V.

On my way to the school cafeteria I saw girl being pushed in to a wall by a tall guy. The guy has one hand on her neck choking her and the other hand is groping her body. I can see that the girl is crying. “Leave me alone.” The girl said. “Why?” the guy asked. Everyone is passing by not doing anything about it. I have to do something. I walked up to them while his back is facing my way. “Leave her alone you big i***t!” Then I kicked him on his leg. it felt as if i kicked a brick wall. “Ouch!” I screamed. Jumping up and down on one foot while holding the other foot. It didn’t look like it affected him. He turned his head a little to look at me. “Oh look its a little human trying to be a hero, maybe you can be my next play toy.” He said with a grin on his face. What does he think he is an alien? He then turned towards me, before he could grab me the girl pushed him. The girl grabbed my wrist and we ran. It’s the second time today that I’ve been running. The only difference is that we are being chased. We ran out of the school building. We froze when we heard a loud growl from behind us. What was that? it sounded like a animal. Next moment I’m being tackled to the ground by the big i***t. Thank goodness I landed on the grass. My head had hit a rock. So unlucky for that. He is choking me with both of hands. I felt him being ripped off of me. The jerk of this morning is punching the guy. My vision is starting to get blurry. “Are you alright?” A blonde girl asked towering over me. I couldn’t answer her. “Shane she’s bleeding we need to take her to the school clinic!” The girl screamed. A few seconds later I could feel sparks on my face where a hand has touched my cheeks softly. “I’m sorry baby.” A familiar voice said picking me up. “You are safe now my little angel.” I slipped in a pit of darkness.

Shane’s P.O.V

Me, Jasper, Lisa and Tyler were heading to the cafeteria, we stopped halfway. Dave the Alpha of the red moon pack is hurting Lilly his mate. Lilly is an omega, a lone wolf, a wolf without a pack. I can see that my little mate wants to help the omega and that made me mad. My mate is only human she can get hurt. “Leave her alone you big i***t!” my mate said and kicked him on his leg. “Ouch!” she screamed. Jumping up and down on one foot while holding the other foot. He turned his head a little to look at her. “Oh look its a little human trying to be a hero, maybe you can be my next play toy.” Dave said. I got mad. She is mine and only mine. I never liked Alpha Dave now I liked him even less .He then turned towards her, before I could helped her Lilly pushed him. They ran with Dave after them. “Go help your mate.” Lisa said. I told my friends about this morning when I bumped in to my mate I left the kneeing part out. They were happy for me. I followed Dave to protect my little angel. When I got outside Dave growled at my little mate. Hunter my wolf wanted to come to the surface to rip Dave apart. He tackled her to the ground and choked her. I ripped him off and punched him. “Shane she’s bleeding we need to take her to the school clinic!” Lisa shouted. I commanded Tyler to take care of Dave. I ran to my mate. I could see that the side of her head was bleeding. She must’ve hit a rock. Her neck has red finger prints on where Dave had choked her. I softly put my hand on her cheek. “I’m sorry baby.” I said. Getting mad again for what Dave did to my mate. I picked her gently up. “You are safe now my little angel.” I said walking to the school clinic. She had passed out. When I arrived at the school clinic with my little mate I put her down on the bed and told the doctor what happened to her. I sat next to her bed on a chair waiting for the doctor to finish checking her. At least it’s a lady doctor. I don’t want other males touching what’s mine. “Alpha Shane the girl will be okay she’s just a little bit shocked.” Doctor Mary said. “Thank you Mary.” I said. “Mary I want you to book her of for a few days, Dave will hurt her, I want to get him transferred before she comes back to school.” I requested. “Yes alpha, if I may ask why is this girl so important to you?” She asked. “She is my mate, but I’m not sure how I will tell her about our kind. I will have to, so that she could complete me.” I said. “Yes I know Alpha, I can’t understand why the moon goddess gave you a human mate. You have the strongest pack.” Mary said. “I can tell she is different than the other humans Mary.” I said. “You can give her your mark then she can become one of us.” Mary said. “I will but not yet.” I said. My little mate started moving on the bed. “Hi little angel are you okay?” I asked. “Yes, I’m fine and my name is Malia not Angel.” She said a bit rude I think she is still mad at me for this morning. What a beautiful name I thought. “Nice to meet you Malia, I’m Doctor Mary and this rude guy is Shane. I’m going to book you of for a few days to rest. ”Mary said and left. “Nice to meet you Malia.” I said. “Where is the girl, with dark brown hair? “ She asked. What girl? Oh she meant Lilly. “You mean Lilly?” I asked. “I don’t know her name, can I see her please? I want to see if she is okay.” Malia said. I mind link Lisa to bring Lilly in with the rest of the guys. I don’t know why my mate wanted to see Lilly. Lilly can’t even defend herself she is only going to get my mate hurt. There was a knock on the door. “Come in” I said. Lisa, Lilly, Jasper and Tyler walked in .I introduced them to Malia. After I introduced them Lilly ran to my mate and hugged her. “Thank you for saving me Malia. I’m sorry that you’ve got hurt.” She said. My little mate has tears in her eyes. “Don’t worry about it.” She said. The doctor came back to give Malia her note to book her of. “How will you get home Malia?” Mary asked. I mind linked Lisa to take her because she won’t go with me. “I will take her” Lisa said. “Thank you.” Malia said. We said our goodbyes and Lisa and Malia left. A few minutes later Lisa mind linked me to tell me the address of Malia’s house and that she is saved at home. A few days had passed. Dave was finally expelled and transferred to another school.
