When I opened the door to enter the room, Nahj was already sitting on his couch and masticating some meal. When Narien spotted me walking inside, her face immediately lit up with excitement.
Because Narien is now a part of my life, it holds a great deal more vibrancy as well as excitement than it did before she arrived. This is a significant improvement over the situation that existed before to her arrival. Despite this, I haven't been able to shake the feeling that I miss having an older sister. I think it's because I was an only child. It seems that being an only kid has taken some getting used to on my part.
