Another f*****g nightmare, that's what those slowly passing minutes were. Waiting on my best friend and Uncle to return was like a torture itself. All those what ifs and the possible reasons why they aren't here were like an avalanche floating my mind.
I know Seth is the strongest one of us, and technically I shouldn't be so concerned, but every physical strength reaches as far as the rifle's barrel. The truth is no one is invincible. It takes only one good shot and even the greatest warrior falls like a log.
And on top of that, how will we ever explain that to Kite and Gini. They would be crushed. And I know like no one else that those girls dealt with enough during the last few months and I'd rather be damned than bring them even more heartaches.
