I abandoned Kite's side and rushed towards the commotion my Gamma apparently started. Peter was still towering above the petite girl with light brown hair, staring at her as if she was his next meal, and trapping her between his arms and the buffet table behind her back. His pose was not only intimidating, but judging by the girl's face scary too. I never saw my friend rilled up like this before. I would expect that reaction from Titus, who always matched me when it comes to his temper, quarreling for every little, insignificant thing. But Pet?! He was the voice of reason, the calm one, always in control. What makes his lack of self control so much stranger.
