I left the conference room with my head still spinning, now even more than when I woke up. I definitely could use another few hours of sleep, if that's what helps get potion hangover out of my system.
I stepped into the hallway and spotted Seth leaning against a wall with his arms crossed. He looked like he was waiting for me. And not that I don't know why, I just wished he would at least let me get back to myself.
"Hey, man." - I said to him and he turned my way with a smirk.
"You know why I like you, Vaughn?" - he asked with a playful tone that confused the f**k out of me making me shake my head. - "Because when I thought no one could have a worse start with a Mate than me, you come along and scoop the first place in that category."
