Sienna then suggested we shower together to save time before preparing dinner. I was more than happy to agree. I had wanted to be close to her all day, and if she was giving me the chance to wash some of the sadness from her skin, I was not going to waste it.
Three weeks later, Theo kept his promise.
The showroom was ready. Because he offered to pay my workers until I broke even, I was able to hire the highly skilled carpenters in town. We were working hard to prepare for the luncheon, and because of that, I only worked quarter days at Blackridge Works.
