I had never seen Sienna so happy before.
She kissed me differently after I showed her the showroom. She responded to my touch differently too, like something inside her had opened and allowed hope to enter again. I wanted to see that look on her face more. I wanted to keep giving her reasons to smile like that because for weeks, I had watched shame and fear eat away at her, and I hated it. That night, she went on and on about the business until I could barely keep up with her thoughts.
