And I hated him for saying it. ‘I hate to agree with tall trouble,’ Nyla cleared her throat in my head, ‘but tall trouble has a point.’ “May I go to my room now?” I asked because I did not want to hear any more truth. It was evening, and I needed to settle in. Or at least hide. “Sure,” Kael replied. “I will go and buy food for the fridge.
