Sienna’s POV
I shook my head, even though I knew I had hurt him.
“You cannot give me the life I once had or the life I would have had,” I said. “I will always remember what I lost. I wish you all the best, Kael. You are a great guy, just not my guy. Too bad we are stuck together.”
Kael nodded slowly.
The moment the words left my mouth, I knew I had gone too far. Being in my father’s house had brought back painful memories. I had been a princess once. Daddy’s little princess. I was angrier at myself than I was at Kael, but I wanted someone else to feel my pain, and he was the only person standing there.
Kael went to the cupboard and started taking out his things.
