“My father could have killed me,” I said. “He did not because he knew it would affect you.”
“No,” she argued with a bitter laugh. “He was a coward. He knew he could not beat you in a match.”
I nodded slowly.
“He also knew I was not going to fight him,” I confessed. “I was willing to die at that moment.”
Sienna stared at me in shock.
