Sienna’s POV
Nolan’s presence was a blessing.
He kept Maya occupied and, most importantly, off my couch and out of my apartment most nights. He took her to her doctor’s appointments all the time and spent most of his time listening to her rant about Darius. I did not know how he had that much patience, but I was grateful. Nolan wanted to move into Silverlake Town and rent his own place, but I insisted he remain in Maya’s supposed apartment. It took a lot of convincing, but he eventually agreed.
I did not want to be apart from my brother again.
Maybe that was selfish. Maybe I was holding on too tightly because I had already lost him once. But I did not care. I wanted my family close, at least the part of it that still wanted me.
