"Bleep" that's all I could hear. I stood letting my emotions take over, the tears flooded my eyes as the heartbeat began to fade. The doctors rushed around trying to get the heartbeat stronger but they struggled and I could see that. It was when the machine beeped and the line that once went up and down to resemble the strength of the pulse fell and became a straight line.
