A/N: I made a mistake in first chapter, in first chapter Myah is about 16-17 when she runs away and finds this new pack, idk how the formatting looks so I'm horribly sorry if its all jumbled together and confusing. I'm new to this so please bare with me :)
*Myah is now 18 years old**
It's been a whole year and a half that I have been with this pack, and Michael seems to want to pretend like I don't exist. I have been debating on weather or not I should say something to him, my wolf Rhea has been begging me to, whimpering, whining at some sort of action he takes to notice us. The Alpha and Luna have given me the job to patrol and if need be fight when given the chance and of course the don't be afraid to call for help if you need it speech. With me being an almost 9-11 foot wolf, I don't think keeping rouges or any other unwanted visitors out of the territory.
I have been given a relatively large room inside the pack house, since they have no houses available, which is fine by me I'd rather live here anyway. I've made some friends while I've been here, I think... Sometimes I think people befriend me cause their afraid of me. Its very weird how they act all.... suck up sometimes, they always ask if I need anything and if I need help, maybe their just trying to be overly nice? I decide to patrol for the last time today, seeming as the last time someone did it was about two hours ago.
Shifting into my large white wolf, I stretch out my legs and take a good sniff to see if there is anything near by I should worry about, then I get a whiff of him, looking beside me his 2 foot smaller wolf stands beside me.
Care if I join you today? He mind links, this is the first time seeing his wolf and him talking to me since I've been here, and it frustrates me and my wolf.
Oh now you want to talk to me? Sure you can join just don't be distracting. I reply back, making sure to put a little bit of sass and sarcasm into the question and he follows as I take off into a trot going around the territory about 2 feet away from the boarder line. I can sense something is off about Michael, I cant exactly pinpoint what his deal is but I quickly shake it off and get back to the task at hand and continue patrolling our boarders with Michael a few feet behind me..
I sniff the air while I am slowly trotting along the path that I usually do and smell something foreign, something new and my wolf is uneasy at this new scent, I growled loudly sending a warning to this stranger this scent was coming from and had an aggressive protective growl come from behind me, looking back it was only Michael, I knew he was back there but wanted to be sure he wasn't facing off some wolf while I was just standing there.
There was a sudden whimper, whoever this wolf was, they were scared and alone, I assumed by the sound of the whimper it was a young wolf. This wolf had just went through his first shift and probably got caught up in all the new senses that the wolf hadn't realized that he had crossed the boarder line. I sent out a little less of a menacing growl letting the pup know I wasn't going to hurt them. The pup peered it's head from behind a big bush and looked straight at me then at Michael before looking at me. His eyes dilated and showed his plain amount of fear as the pup got low to the ground, onto his belly.
He crawled his way to me and sniffed my paw while I sniffed the back of his neck before grabbing him by the scruff, carrying him like he was my own. I decided then I should take this pup to the Alpha and let him decide how to handle the situation.
Michael you finish the patrol, I take this pup to the Alpha. Alpha, I'm bringing you a pup that I found just inside the boarder, this wolf is newly shifted and scared, I'm not sure what else to do with the poor thing. Michael nodded at the link and continued on with the patrol while I carried the pup to the pack house, the Alpha was waiting outside, arms crossed and clothes in his hand I was assuming they were for the pup, I could be wrong though. I dropped the kid at his feet and the poor pup just sank to the ground, his tail tucked between his legs and shivering visible making it clear to everyone just how scared this pup was.
"Okay pup, don't worry we wont hurt you, just follow me into the house you can shift back and put these on and we'll help you find your way back home." the Alpha stated in a calm soothing voice, as the pup seemingly seemed to calm down to the sound of the Alphas voice, "Myah, thank you and good job, Michael should be back any minute, please stay out here to make sure he makes it back in one piece." he added, I nodded as the Alpha gestured for the pup to follow, to which he obliged.
I turned around facing the boarder, taking a few steps before laying down and waiting for Michael to arrive, my wolf paced in my mind desperately wanting my mate to be safe, I however just wanted him to make it back, so I waited. I waited for some sign that he'd come back and we could go into the pack house and help find out who exactly we had found so scared and in our territory.
I waited.
