Chapter 3: Michael's Patrol

A/N: I do hope that the last chapter was at least a little bit better in formatting and everything, don't be afraid to leave me comments on how I'm doing or suggestions/ideas for later chapters in the book, I do still need help with a cover, so if you know anyone, please point me in the right direction, Thank You!!!

MICHAEL POV

After I had left Myah to deal with the scared and skittish pup, I continued on the boarder patrol as she had so graciously asked me to do, her voice was like honey and I couldn't get enough of it. Her pure white fur glistened and glowed off the setting sun and rising moon like a newly washed car and my wolf loved every bit of her while my mind was on a girl I had always had a crush on, Jennifer, how her pure black hair could fall so perfectly straight covering her body till her mid back, and the dimples that showed when she laughed at my jokes, but any time I thought of Jennifer I would always think of how Myah had something better. Like her perfect white hair and how it fell just past he shoulders curling a little at the bottom, or her perfect navy blue eyes and how they seemed to pop when she was smiling bringing out he small dimples as well, her wolf was just as beautiful as her, from her pure white fur that seemed to glow more during the night and her eyes changing to an icy blue replacing the navy ones. She was perfect, I shook my head as I needed to focus and I hadn't realized I had stopped to just be so distracted by the two most beautiful women in my life. I quickly got back to the task at hand and continued the patrol.

I made a couple rounds just to be sure no one followed that pup in and smelt or heard nothing, and started trotting back towards the pack house, as I had decided to tell Jennifer that id rather had her than Myah even though my wolf pleaded in my head not to make such a choice but to sleep on it and take a week or two before deciding and take that time to get to know Myah and spend more time with her, I had reluctantly agreed but I always knew the answer would be Jennifer, she was just so perfect, this seemed to anger my wolf as he growled in my mind.

I approached the pack house to find Myah laying there patiently waiting for me? As she seen me her wolf seemed to get excited and danced with glee, I chuckled at the childish behavior but never knew her wolf had liked me that much... She looked at me excitement, love, and concern all very clear in her icy blue eyes, I made a small yelp to let her know I was in fact okay, she turned around and grabbed something off the porch and placed it in front of me. Seeing that they were clothes I went behind a tree shifted and changed, when I came out she was also in her human form and dressed, something in me seemed kind of disappointed at the fact that I didn't get to see her naked body and claim her as mind right then and there, I blamed it on the wolf and mate bond.

She turned and slightly smiled at me showing off those perfect dimples, I smiled kindly back at her before we both went to open the doors of the pack house, I stopped her with my words..

"Hey, Myah. I was wondering if, maybe um.." I stumbled on my words suddenly worried at to what she'd say, I took a breathe before I continued, "I was wondering if you'd like to go out to dinner with me tomorrow, I'd like to get to know you a bit more. I'm sorry I didn't talk to you before, I just didn't know how to approach you, I was so nervous." I scratched the back of my neck, hoping she'd accept the invitation and the sucky apology. She smiled brightly, showing her perfect straight white teeth.

"I'd love to go out on a date with you, and it's not just your fault. I could have talked to you as easily as you could've talked to me , but yes I'll go out wit you." she said, with such kindness and acceptance in her voice, my wolf jumped up and down like a little kid in my head, wagging his tail and panting. We both entered the pack house as I quietly chuckled to myself, smiles on bot of our faces.

"Good, you're both back, the pup has been too scared to talk to me, I think it'd be best if Myah talks to him, he seems to only respond when we talk about the wolf who brought him here." the Alpha said from the living room, stress is visible to everyone as he is just trying to help the pup out to find his family, but with how scared it he is, he has closed himself off, everyone understood but that didn't stop them from feeling frustrated. Myah nodded and she took off into the direction where the pups scent was coming from, hopefully she can get him to open up. I prayed for the pups sake he did, because we cant afford to take him in and have a potential war on our hands for the family thinking we kidnapped him and forced him to join us.

The world seemed to think of us as monsters, and who knew maybe they were right.

MYAH POV

I quietly knocked once I reached the door where the scent of the pup was very strong, I carefully and slowly opened and entered the room, my eyes landing on the teen. He was relatively tall, brown hair that seemed to match the trees in the forest and green eyes to match the long grass.

"Hello, my name is Myah, I'm the one who found you and brought you here. What's your name?" I asked, in a soft friendly voice trying to comfort the pup as much as I could, I sat down and looked at him, he seemed to visibly relax his body, it seemed like his wolf was telling him he could trust me. I waited patiently for his response.

"My name is Alex James Newman, I have no idea where I'm at, I got separated from my pack when I first shifted, getting distracted by the new senses that heightened. Next thing I know I'm being carried here by a very pretty and large white wolf.." he finally explained, I smiled kindly at the compliment, my wolf wagging her tail, seemingly happy that he thought she was pretty.

"Do you remember your packs name? We can help you get home but we need to know the name of the pack, that will help get you home to your parents, friends and siblings. I'm sure they are worried greatly about you." I asked him, my kind and soothing voice still seeming to relax the pup.

"It's a pack called Blood Lunar, they aren't far from here I think." He said, not seeming scared but confident. I smiled brightly at him

"Alright, let's get you home." I said, before getting up and mind linking the info to my Alpha before exiting the room, leaving Alex to himself until he found it comfortable enough to come out of hiding.
