We both walked out of the doors of the apartment complex. By mutual and silent consent, we started to walk toward Mountview. The walk was silent for the first few minutes. It was a strange, almost comfortable silence. My big mouth broke the silence, though. “What are you doing going to Mountview, anyway?” I asked him, presuming that’s where he was going, considering he was going in the same direction as me. “I thought you wanted to be surprised when you watched the show.” “I don’t know.
