“Yeah, you’re right. He is trying to make amends.” I told them both. “Oh, and he’s invited us all to an after-show cast party on Saturday night.”
Ashley’s eyes lit up, and she bounced up and down on her seat, excited by the prospect of a party. She was more at home at the party scene than I was.
“Are you going?” Ashley asked, buzzing with anticipation.
After shrugging, I played with my fingers. “I don't know. I was thinking about it. Yeah, I suppose.” I then shook my head. “But I’m still not sure; partying is not my thing.”
“Oh yeah, I understand,” Ashley said, nodding. “But I do think you should go. If Hunter is trying to make it up to you, you should show your face and show him you’re accepting his apology.”
I reflected on that for a little while. “Okay, I’ll go.” I nodded, smiling.
