Hunter and I were halfway through our meals when we finally communicated. We were so focused on the delicious food beforehand.
“So, what got you into performing, then?” Hunter asked after taking a sip of his coffee.
“My parents,” I briefly said. I then explained further. “They both wanted to perform themselves. Mum wanted to be in musicals like me and Dad was very into his music and he had his own band. But Mum had me at a young age, so that kind of stopped both of their careers. So, they sort of lived their careers through me. They sent me to acting and singing classes as soon as I could talk and dance classes, as soon as I could walk. I didn’t care though, because I loved it. But, as I grew older, I sort of realised what they were doing.”
