“Are you okay?” I asked her, concern laced my tone. I worried something awful had happened overnight. “Yeah, I’m fine. I didn’t sleep that well, to be honest.” Ashley yawned as she dragged herself over to the kitchen area and poured herself a warm cup of coffee. She cradled the mug in her hands and brought it to her lips, and she took her first taste of coffee. She let her head roll back and a sigh of bliss escaped her mouth when she tasted the caffeine. “Why?” I inquired.
