We didn’t have much other than the suitcases, so moving had been easy. When Zayne suggested I buy a house in New York and stop living in and out of hotel suites, it was the best idea I’d heard in a while. Luckily, when the city's mayor was desperate to curry your favor, it was pretty easy to close the deal on a beautiful, fully furnished house in a couple of days. It was a gorgeous duplex with four bedrooms, a huge home office, a game room/library, a state-of-the-art kitchen, and a huge backyard. It was situated in a nice, safe little suburban neighborhood where the worst crime they’d ever seen was a neighbor’s dog peeing on news
