After I turned off the engine in front of the border, I hesitated.
When I was reviewing reports and bringing myself up to speed on pack updates, I learned that a riot had occurred near the border due to issues with the mania and the defective antidote that Mason had gone to quell.
I hesitated now because I was here to see him.
On one hand, I still felt things were…awkward between us after Fenrath kicked his ass black and blue. On the other hand, there was the issue of the false paternity test he had presented to me.
Had it been a mistake? Or could I not trust my Beta?
