  ANDREA’S POV   “How many hours has it been?”   Nico checked his watch. “A little over twenty-four.”   I sighed, leaning back against my desk. “And no attacks? Nothing brewing?”   He shook his head. “Nothing.”   I blew out a puff of air. “That’s good.” I looked at my Beta. “That’s good…right?”   He nodded, but the crease between his brows didn’t lift. “It’s given us time to further reinforce the boundary walls, so that’s good.”   “But?”   He shrugged. “After the arbitrary way they attacked yesterday, why did they just stop?”   I shook my head. “Maybe Kade terrified them enough?
