Put on Your Game Face

Melissa sighed and pressed the button on the elevator for the fifth floor angrily. The receptionist at the front desk had called her urgently to come and take Aiden Vault. But as soon as Melissa reached, the ***** had the guts to say he had already gone up. Melissa suspected the girl didn't like her. And if that was the case, well then Melissa didn't like her either. She tapped her feet on the floor, waiting for the door to open quickly. She knew Adams. He was going to say she was unprofessional, coming after Aiden Vault, whom he could lay his life for. A feeling Melissa definitely did not reciprocate. Sure, she thought his story was something else. Like really impressive. But added to the fact that Melissa had never seen him, she was pregnant and she wasn't sure girls were the ones who turned him on were objects of his s****l desire. Melissa sighed again then almost jumped in relief when the elevator doors opened. She got out briskly and walked in the general direction of where she expected Vault to be. As she was walking, Adams came out of one the makeup rooms looking extremely stressed out. As soon as he saw her though, his face relaxed a little. But not for long. Because he started scream-whispering. It was strange. But Melissa could everything of what he was saying. "Melissa, how the f**k did you leave me hanging like that? Do you know how unprofessional it will make us look?" he scolded. Nail on the head, Melissa thought, my thoughts hit the nail on the head. But she didn't say that out loud. As she opened her mouth to justify herself, Adams stopped her with one look. Melissa pressed her lips together and looked away. He was surely aware of whatever had happened but he didn't want her to talk about it. At that instant, the receptionist managed to unnerve her more and Melissa almost felt like going down again and giving the former a sound slap. "Go and get your stuff ready. The set is ready for pictures. And we need you to acclimate yourself. Go take your stuff," he ordered then walked away. Melissa looked at his retreating back and sighed. She knew this s**t was going to be stressful but she didn't expect this. It was like they expected responsibility for every thing going wrong to fall on her. But it wasn't going to to happen like that. She was going to do a bombass job with that interview and nothing could stop her. Not even the man she was interviewing himself. Melissa went to her office, picked up all the stuff she had prepared, her notebook, her jottings then walked to the room where the photoshoot was going to take place. She had never seen the man. But based on what others were saying, he sounded really attractive so Melissa was sure she was going to be getting a lot of eye candy. She entered and the first thing she heard was a deep voice. It was kind of familiar and Melissa frowned a little. The voice stopped speaking but Melissa advanced into the room, intent on knowing whoever was the owner of the voice. The voice started saying something again, something Melissa couldn't make out. There was someone in front of her so she walked to another part of the room, found a stool and sat on it. There she had a vantage view of the shoot. And of the man himself. Melissa sat, eagerly waiting for Aiden Vault to turn. His back looked amazing. How? That was not the question you should be asking. His ass looked delectable in his trousers and she was instantly plunged into dirty thoughts. She imagined digging her hands deep into the form spheres as he drove deeper and harder into her wetness. Melissa blushed at her thoughts then turned around to see whether anyone had noticed that she was thinking dirty thoughts like that. To her relief, no one was staring at her. As soon as she turned to look at the man again, he turned. And God, was he fine. He was built, but not too built to seem like he was on steroids. His shirt hugged his chest to perfection and Melissa almost felt like ripping it off and kissing the n*****s she imagined were dusky. His face. Oh God his face. It was like it had been hand crafted by the gods themselves. His lashes were full, his eyes a perfect shade of grey and his lips the color of kisses. All of sudden, Melissa gasped. She knew him. She knew this man! He was the man she had had s*x with a month ago. He was the father of her baby! She looked down, her heart beating at one million an hour. Was he going to recognize her? Was he looking at her? Oh my God what was she going to tell him? And after her sneaky escape? How was she going to face him? And oh my God, she was going to spend more than thirty minutes talking with him. How was she going to cope? Melissa took in a deep breath, tried to compose her thoughts then looked at him again. He was looking at her! And his eyes were squinted, almost like he was trying to place her face. Melissa got.. shy and dropped her head again. She couldn't stare at him for much longer. Melissa realized now why his house looked like one of those you would see in a magazine, artfully decorated and all that. And she understood why the man had a f*****g driver for f**k's sake. Who had drivers these days anymore? Aiden Vault apparently. She heard his voice again and clenched her legs. It was giving her flashbacks. Her brain kept on replaying the memories she could remember. And his deep and husky voice was not helping matters. Cum for me, princess. Melissa clenched her legs and bit her lip. She looked at the wall like there was something so interesting going on there. The man, Aiden Vault, laughed and Melissa felt like marching up to him and telling him how he wasn't allowed to be that sexy. He was making her think dirty thoughts. And with her condition, her hormones were all over the place. It was not like she had a partner she could willingly go to and have s*x with. All she had was a vibrator she hadn't used in months. She was sure that's what she was going to use. Melissa shook her head at her thoughts. Why was she thinking of a vibrator at her office? What type of stupid s**t was that? She really did need to have s*x. Cause this amount of desperateness was not normal. Melissa decided to concentrate on something other than the fine specimen of man in front of her. She opened her notebook and started jotting down some more questions. She was strangely inspired. But she made sure not to make the questions too personal or familiar because they had had s*x before. It was going to be a challenge. Separating her feelings from her job. She didn't want to be too friendly with him because they had had s*x. She didn't want that him to feel like she was trying to forge an intimacy. That was the last thing she wanted. This was the biggest job she had gotten in her whole career and she was not going to f**k it up because she had had s*x with the biggest business mogul in the country. Maybe the continent. Or the world. Who knew? Melissa felt someone touch her shoulder and her heart started pounding. She looked up and to her delight, it wasn't Aiden Vault. In as much as he was fine and delectable, she had to prepare her thoughts before talking to him. Or she was going to either: (i) say something stupid. Or: (ii) say something stupid and faint. It was Adams. He had an apologetic smile on his face. "I'm sorry for stressing you out. You're one of the best here and I know you're going to do this well. But I'm stressed out as f**k too. I think I'll have grey hair after this," he confessed and both of them laughed. "Don't worry. There's hair dye. All you have to do is put it. You can make your choice too. Permanent or not at all," Melissa teased and they laughed again. Almost out of reflex, Melissa looked up again and found that Aiden Vault was staring straight at her and Adams. She blushed and put her head down. Adams must have noticed something because he asked, "Do you know him?" "Who doesn't?" was Melissa's rhetorical reply. "You seem like you know him more," Adams insisted, looking at her with his piercing blue eyes. "I don't," she replied shortly. Adams made a short noise but otherwise didn't respond. Melissa let out a silent sigh of relief. But her relief was short. At that moment, Aiden Vault was advancing towards their direction, looking straight at her. Melissa gulped and prayed all the gods on earth to help her. She closed her eyes, then opened them again. She was ready. Bring it on.
