A Lunch Date

As Leonard sat at his desk, lost in thought, his phone buzzed with an email notification. He glanced at the screen and his heart skipped a beat as he saw the name of the sender - Alexander, the CEO of the company. He opened the email and his eyes scanned the message. Alexander wanted to meet him for lunch to discuss some important matters. Leonard's mind racing with possibilities, he quickly typed out a response, accepting the invitation. The rest of the morning dragged on slowly as Leonard waited for lunchtime. He couldn't concentrate on his work, his mind wandering to the possibilities of what Alexander might want to discuss. Finally, the clock struck noon, and Leonard made his way to the restaurant where he was supposed to meet Alexander. As he walked in, he spotted Alexander already seated at a table, sipping on a glass of wine.

Leonard approached the table, feeling a sense of nervousness wash over him. Alexander looked up, smiled, and gestured for Leonard to take a seat. "Thank you for coming, Leonard," Alexander said, his voice warm and friendly. "I wanted to discuss something important with you. Something that could potentially change your career trajectory forever."
