First Times?

Coop's call really caught me off guard, I don't know how I'm feeling still. I haven't told anyone about the trip, planning to tell my parents tonight. I have a cute circle of mates at school, only because we're low-key geeks but we look really "hip" and fun to be with.

"Someone's quiet today, are you okay?"..

My best friend Julie, she never misses a moment to check on me, and vice versa. We're sitting at the courtyard at school, busy with an assignment.

"I'm fine honey, are you?"

"I'm fine too. When last did you speak to Coop? I always get a load of news after the weekend, what happened this time?"

I look at her, and I look back down at my notes. Should I tell her? What if I jinx things? My alter ego and intuition drive me crazy, I don't know what to do now. Fine, I'll tell her.

" Let's go get some juice, I'll tell you on the way"..

We get up and take our bags, telling the others that we'll see them in class.

"So? Out with it then"

"Coop booked me a flight to come over to him for 3 months"

"Uhm, what??!!" - I have never seen Julie happy like this, you could swear that she's been routing for this moment.

"What's wrong with you? Wipe that smile off your face"

"Why? I'm excited! My two favorite people, together for 3 months? Please break your virginity and make a baby?"

Before I can answer, I have to just slap her on the shoulder, what kind of talk is this?

"Okay look. I'm excited too, I just don't know how I'm going to behave around him. I haven't seen him in so long"

We walk in silence until the vending machine, and I'm trying to figure out the clothes I'm going to need.

WHAT IS GOING ON????

This isn't the Coop I know, or has he been drooling over my latest posts? I mean, my thighs don't stop getting bigger, and the waist just stays snatched and it's been this way since my younger years.

School goes by fast, and it's the end of the day. It still doesn't click that I have a car, my parents need to stop doing such things for me, omg. I drive a 2020 BMW 2-Series Auto MSPORT, it's red. Safely driving home, mom is home and cooking, it smells divine!

"Hello sweetheart, how was school? Did you have a safe drive? I worry about you since Coop is gone, he kept you safe"

"Oh Mom, you worry too much, I was safe and school was fine. How was work?"

"We have new trucks coming in this week, that's got your dad stressed as usual"

"When will you let me work for the family business mom?"

"Adelaide, your studies come first. You know you can get money whenever you want to, don't be in a rush to work please"

I let out a huge sigh, I'll never win with mom. I honestly don't like the life I'm living, but I guess it's what it takes to be the last born child of multi-millionaires.

"Mom, I spoke to Coop over the weekend"

"That's lovely! How is he? What did he say?"

"He's great, he actually wants me to come over for the holidays"

"Well, that's nice, do you want to go?"

"Uhm.."

"What is it? Oh no, have the college boys dragged you away from your good friend?"

"Wow Mom, it's nothing like that. I'm all of a sudden.. Scared.."

"Oh sweetheart. You two have grown now. It's also really amazing that he's still making an effort to be with you, even when you're far apart. Such things are rare these days, treasure every moment you have with him"

"I guess you're right, I'm just worried about how he'll view me now, we really have grown"

"And he still wants you over for 3 months. Take that and run. When are you leaving?"

"Oh wow Mom, kick me out already!"

I hug Mom, share a laugh with her and head up to my room. My big brothers are in the game room playing soccer, I can just hear their deep voices. They're going to be so excited when they hear about Coop's request, they love him as their own. Amazing, right?

It's another long week of school, and I'm now left with four days before my trip. I still haven't told anyone except my family, Coop's family and Julie. All my assignments are submitted, and I'm still trying to run away from one of my lecturers, who keeps trying to solicit me.

"Hey babe, you really have been avoiding me huh? Did you get your flight details in your email?"

"Oh honey, I haven't been avoiding you. I had a few assignments to submit and I wanted to prepare properly for this trip. I just realized that I can't come"..

Coop went silent, I sat on my bed with a big smile on my face.

"Coop?"

"It's okay babe, I understand. Maybe next time?"

"Oh my goodness Coop, I would never decline the chance to be with you, I'm coming and I got the flight details!"

Coop yelled so loud on the other side of the phone, I'm pretty sure he was even jumping on the bed.

"See you at the airport on Thursday?

" I'll be waiting for you babe, I'll get there one hour early!"

Typical Coop, always so charming and sweet, I'm glad that my mom talked me into doing this.

Last day of school

It's officially the last day of school, and little did I know that I would be getting two sets of amazing news. I got my results for the semester back, and I got straight As, my parents are going to be so happy (though dad might find one tiny mistake somewhere).

I run into Julie, she doesn't look as happy as usual, her face looks flushed as though she hasn't been sleeping well. We hug each other and start walking, she also aced the term like I did, I guess that's why we're friends. I mean, virgins who have dirty mouths and are academically inclined? Not too bad for this era, right?

"Hey sweet thing, we aced the term huh? University isn't so bad after all"

"It's not, we did really well. What's wrong with your face, have you been sleeping?"

"With all the assignments and the pressure, not really"

"I can see that, anything else?"

Julie sits down and puts her face in her palms, I really hope she's not crying.

"Julie? Are you crying?"

"No, I don't think it's safe for me to be crying too much right now"

"Julie, what is it?"

"Marc might break up with me when he hears this"

"Hears what? What aren't you telling me?"

"I'm pregnant, 12 weeks"

I couldn't help but gasp, in happiness of course. I thought we'd be virgins forever, I guess I'm alone now ? Let me stop being silly, I need to be there for my friend. I hug her and shed a tear, I'm going to be an aunt!!

"Why would Marc break up with you? Don't even think about that"

"I'm going to get fat and moody, why would he still want me?"

"Well, here he comes, would you like me to leave you two alone?"

"No, please stay. I need you here"

Marc arrives at the table, puts his bag down and greets us. He doesn't look well too, but his jock lifestyle is keeping him strong. I remember how close he was to Coop, they were trouble together.

"Marc, I have to tell you something"

"And we're asking you to not freak out about it.. Please"

He's already freaking out before he can hear it, poor guy ?

"I'm listening baby, what's happening? Did you two fail the term and have decided to become street hoes?"

We all laugh at this, his jokes can be dry but it's okay, we've got a situation here.

"Very funny baby, I'm pregnant"

"And I'm the aunt!"

Trust me to just make things better with these side comments. Marc's face is lit up like the supermoon, he can't even find the right words. He's hugging and kissing the mother of his baby, and I'm getting a text from Coop, happy moments!

" Hey baby, can you feel it yet? You should be sitting in that flight right now, but we can wait a couple more hours right? Call me when you're free, I miss you"

Jeez Coop, stop hovering me, I get it! I'm smiling my cheeks off, making it obvious that love really makes you look stupid. Wait, did I just talk about love? ?

Pregnancy issue solved and now I can peacefully go off to Coop. Packing wasn't easy but I managed, at least I have a gigantic suitcase.

"Let's start from the top. Did you pack everything that you need for your face and hair? Jewelery for all your piercings and your neck and fingers?

" Mom, wow"

"You can laugh all you like, this will help you. Next, underwear. Lingerie and sleepwear, vests and leggings, socks and.."

"You're going too fast mom, one thing at a time"

Packing takes long with mom, but I'm finally done and ready for my 03h00 flight. Trust Coop to have me on the road in the wee hours of the morning.

Flight Day

It's the day, I can't believe it's finally here. Got on the phone with Coop before heading to the airport, just had to make sure that he's not pranking me.

Mom drops me off, gives me a kiss and watches me board my flight. Coop booked me a seat in first class of Qatar Airways, fancy huh?

The plane is cozy, I have a blanket and my own little space where I can watch whatever, and order anything I want. I settle in, and let Coop know that the plane has taken off. The flight is 9 hours, I might just sleep in between the hours.

I stayed up for 5 hours, and slept for a few more. I woke up with the announcement of "30 minutes until landing", finally.

I'm here. Got my suitcase at baggage claim and I'm heading to the exit doors. I can see Coop, is that even him? Oh, my, God.

"My sunshine, I couldn't wait to finally hold you"

"Coop, I can't believe I'm finally with you! I missed you so much!"

That hug was so soothing, and he smells so good. He holds me like he's married to me, I've never felt so loved before. As I'm about to say something, I suddenly feel that vibration again. COOP IS KISSING ME!!!!
