A 'Planned' Separation.

There's quite a number of visitor at the Avalon's International Airport. People kept walking and some of them running to catch their flights.
Lara walked hand in hand with Daniel. She held his hand tightly. After this, it'll be hard for them to meet each other since Daniel will be at London for 2 years.
Lara knew this was the best for both of them. She don't want to hold Daniel back from pursuing his dream. She believed 2 years will fly by.
They also being companied by Linda and Jeremy.
'Good afternoon passengers. This is the pre-boarding announcement for flight 89B to London. We are now inviting those passengers with small children, and any passengers requiring special assistance, to begin boarding at this time. Please have your boarding pass and identification ready. Regular boarding will begin in approximately ten minutes time. Thank you'
A woman announcer voice filled the entire airport.
"Looks like we have 10 minutes more" Daniel tried to comfort Lara. Since yesterday, she wanted to cuddle with him at anytime. He felt sorry for having to leave her.
"You just take care of yourself there. I'll take care of Lara. Please call once you've arrived" Linda's word before hugged her nephew.
"Please take care of my aunt on my behalf" Jeremy nodded at Daniel's words. Jeremy put his arm around Linda's shoulder.
Daniel slowly walked to Lara, who headed down. Lara tried to hold back her tears. She wanted to make it easy for Daniel to leave.
Daniel lifted her chin so their eyes can meet. Daniel showed a reassuring smile to Lara.
"I'll miss those dimples so much" said Lara with a sad tone.
Daniel brought her into his arms when Lara suddenly bursted into tears. Her tears dam broke easily. This is how a long distance relationship couple have gone through.
"Shhhh... It's okay. You'll come to London to visit me right? Please don't cry" Daniel tried to persuade and comfort Lara. He rubbed her back with his comforting hand.
"Always call me yeah. Do take care. Don't hurt yourself" Lara reminded Daniel to come back in one piece. Daniel grinned with Lara's advice.
Lastly, Daniel slowly leaned forward for a proper kiss. He held Lara's waist closer to him while Lara's hands wrapped around his neck. What made Daniel regretted to go that he will miss Lara's fruity scent and her giggles when they cuddles.
After final announcement for departure, Daniel pushed his trolley into the check in point. He waved at them for a last time before dissapeared behind the wall.

Lara got home after sending Daniel off. She felt Daniel's absence. It was just a few hours and she already missed him badly.
Lara stepped into the bedroom and looked at the bed. She realised how big the bed was since Daniel's not there. Daniel always suggested for them to buy a bigger bed but this one already feels massive when he's not around.
That night, she went to Aunt Linda's so she won't feels lonely. Aunt Linda tried to make her distracted from thinking about Daniel.
After a long chats with Aunt Linda, Lara headed back even though Aunt Linda said she can stay at her place.
Lara threw her bag on the couch and weakly dragged herself to the bedroom. She lied on her back, looking at empty ceiling.
Her phone suddenly vibrated and she saw Daniel's name on the screen.
"Hi. Did you just arrived at London?" Lara cheerfully answered the call.
"Hmmm. I call just to make sure you're fine. What are you doing?" Daniel sounded happy and worry at the same time. Lara must felt lonely.
"I just arrived from Aunt Linda's. Both of us missing our favs man" said Lara.
"Me too. I'll have a hard time here, missing you. How I'll go to bed without you by my side?" Daniel wanted to book a flight back to Avalon.
"We have to get used to it. Two years flies by quickly. You must be tired after a long flight. Get some rest" Lara don't want to end the call but she pitied on Daniel who must feels lethargic after hours sitting at plane.
"Goodnight love. Love you"
"Love you too" Finally the call ended and Lara back to miss Daniel. Looks like she had to force herself to sleep when she already get used to sleep in Daniel's arms.
After she took a shower, Lara lied on the bed, tried to get a sleep with hope these 2 years will fly by quickly and Daniel will come back to her side.

Carl sipped a whiskey from his glass while stared at the view from his room balcony.
A knocked sound were heard and footsteps caused him to turn.
A gentlemen in a black suit stood there, waiting for Carl's order.
"Did he board the plane?" Carl asked to that man.
"Yes. He already arrived at the training base. I've confirmed with the officer there"
Carl ordered that man to leave as he continued to enjoy the view.
"I've get rid an obstacle. So I should start to carry out my plans" Carl talked to himself with a grin formed on his lips. His hand swirled the whiskey glass before he took it to his lips.
He don't expected it will be this easy to send Daniel away. He already had other plans if Daniel refused the 'training offer' that he created.
Yes. He's the one that ordered Colonel Kennedy to send Daniel to the military training. He took advantage of Colonel Kennedy's guilt towards Daniel and made him to agree with his 'plan'.
Now, with Daniel out of picture, he can try to get closer with Lara and carried out his plans. 2 years would be enough to make Lara come to his side.
