Falsely Accused
Lara opened her eyes slowly when she saw Karlie sat next to her. She felt thankful but Karlie wasn't the one she wanted to see next to her right now. "Lar, can you hear me?" asked Karlie. Lara slowly moved her eyelids to answer Karlie's question. She felt all her energy being drained. "Wait here. I'll call for the doctor" said Karlie before she went out from the ward. Few minutes later, Karlie came with Dr Cho and a nurse. Dr Cho inspected Lara's condition and asked her few questions. "She's getting better. The anesthesia has worn off so she will feel a little sting from the wound. I will prescribe a pain killer. Make sure she takes it" Dr Cho explained everything to Karlie and Karlie nodded.
