Tough Call
Lara placed her palm gently on Andrew's forehead. It was hotter than usual. His skin was flushed. Andrew were crying all night and being relentless even Lara tried to calm him down. Lara took out a thermometer and placed it inside Andrew's ears. It showed a reading of 39°c. Lara frantically reached for her phone. She tried to call Carl but it went into the mail box.
