Mer grabs two shoulder bags for our travels, while I take care of our left guests. It has been since right before the opening of the inn, that I last saw this place completely empty. The only thing that has changed is the furniture that now tells stories of almost fights where guests drove knifes in the wood of the tables, dances on the tables and the normal wear from placed elbows. I am saddened to see a place of comfort empty. Not knowing if or when we will return nor if it will ever again be like it used to be. “My lady.” Mer looks teary at me. Empowering her, I put my arm around her shoulders, pulling her in I tighten my grip around her shoulder to give some sort of encouragement. “We will be back. Yet I also feel saddened to leave our home behind for now.” A small sigh is released
