Chapter 13 ~ All In Pt. 2

2107 Words
His body settled over hers completely. Nightmare, the club, the territory wars- all of it faded until there was nothing but the trailer and Tess. Only the way her body felt against his... only the two of them tangled together in the darkness. And he had never been more fulfilled. He entered her slowly this time as he relished every inch as he sheathed himself inside her like a sword, and he moaned out her name as a feeling of completeness filled his entire being. His breath caught as this feeling overwhelmed him, feeling every inch of her around him. The pace he started was slow, a deliberate torture, as he savored the connection instead of chasing his release as he did the first time. His forehead dropped to her shoulder as his muscles started to tense. He fought off the urge to lose control entirely as he moved with purpose, each thrust deep, filling her completely. One hand anchored her hips, the other the headboard, intentionally keeping her right where he wanted her. The trailer rocked slightly with the rhythm of them. The only sounds were her breathing and his rough groans muffled against her neck. His lips found her collarbone, the mark he left there earlier. He added another, darker this time, more permanent. A badge of honor that he intended as proof that she belonged to him. The possessiveness ran through him like fire. He never wanted anyone else to know her like this. Just him. “Tess… f**k, Tess…” he moaned as the pleasure started to take over. He was so close; it astonished him how she was able to do this to him so quickly. The feel of her was so genuine and powerful. He pulled out and turned her over on all fours to give him a small moment to regain himself. He reenters her and moans again. So much more intense at this angle. Adrian gripped her hips hard enough to leave marks, his control shattered. The angle was too much as it changed everything, deeper, tighter, and he couldn't hold back anymore. His thrust had become urgent, almost frantic. Sweat beaded across his chest and shoulders as he leaned forward, his body covering hers from behind. His hand slid up her spine, pressing her down into the mattress. Low growls escaped him with each movement, and sounds of her pleasure were driving him mad. He could listen to that all day. He was now chasing the edge of their orgasms. The very thing he had pulled back from moments ago, no longer able to prolong the inevitable. “Tess… You feel so goddamn good…” His voice was rough, broken, nothing like the controlled president of Nightmare. Just a man lost in her. His rhythm quickened, breath became ragged against her shoulder blade as he drove deeper, chasing them both toward that edge. When he hit that spot with a fever that undoes her, and she screamed out his name as her orgasm racked her entire body, her scream tore through him like lightning, and he lost himself to the pleasure. The way her body convulsed around him, the raw sound of his name torn from her throat, shattered every wall he had ever built. He followed her over the edge; his release hit hard, and a deep guttural moan ripped from his chest as he buried himself inside her one final time. He stilled above her, and for a moment, there was nothing but ragged breathing and the pounding of his heart against her back. His arms wrapped around her, pulling her against him as they collapsed sideways onto the bed, still tangled together. His face pressed into her hair, breathing her in like oxygen. The trailer settled into quiet around them; the sound of the lake and its distant rhythm could barely be heard beneath the hum of the air conditioning. His arm stayed locked around her waist, her back pressed against his chest, her breathing evened out as sleep claimed her. For the first time in years, maybe ever, he didn’t feel the need to leave. Didn’t feel the weight of restlessness that usually drove him back to the clubhouse, back to business, and back to the distance that kept him safe. He didn’t pull away, didn’t create distance like he was so used to doing with every other woman he had ever been close to. Instead, he held her closer, pulling her so close that he could feel her heartbeat slowly receding into its natural rhythm. He refused to leave her warmth as they both succumbed to the darkness of sleep wrapped in each other's arms exactly as they were meant to be. Together… he had found his home. ~~Outside~~ Marcus kept watch at the perimeter. He couldn’t believe that his boss, the distantly cold and ruthless at times president of Nightmare, was still in there. He had been a prospect for almost a year and had never seen anything like this from him. Marcus shifted his weight against the oak tree at the north perimeter; his eyes were always scanning the dark property for any potential threats. He had learned that slacking was not smart… that there was always someone waiting to find a weakness inside Nightmare. The trailer sat quiet; the lights were off except for the faint glow of the moon. It had been that way for hours. Knox didn’t stay. That was the rule Marcus had learned working security for Nightmare. The boss took what he wanted and then left. He was always clean, efficient, and above all, no complications. But his truck was still parked outside the trailer. And the light went dark around midnight, with no signs of him coming out. Marcus decided to report to Reaper instead of disturbing the boss: “Boss is still inside… Overnight, requested clothes and a toothbrush.” The response came back fast, Reaper: “No s**t?” Marcus didn't answer. He just kept watching the property, processing what that might mean. Knox claiming a woman wasn’t new. At least in the sense that she was his to use. But Knox staying with one sure as hell was. Marcus continued to watch the property through the night until his relief arrived at around six in the morning. He headed back to the clubhouse with thoughts of uncertainty and concern weighing heavily on his troubled mind. ~~Inside the Trailer~~ As the morning sun crested the trees and started to peer through the window, Tess said, “I’m not ready to yet. I think that the guys need to know me. Some of them will be watching me, and going to Washington for my s**t just doesn't feel right. Do you understand what I’m thinking?” She asked Knox as they lay together. Knox was surprised by her thoughts of the club and stretched a bit to gather his thoughts. She was right. The men need context, not rumors. He knew that they were likely already circulating around the club. That’s just how it worked. They were not just a club; for some, the club was their only family, for others an extension of the family they were building, yet there were still some who couldn't care less as long as the money kept flowing. “I think we should talk more about it over breakfast. I’m starving; you took all my energy last night.” He said with a smirk and a teasing tone that made her blush. She slapped his shoulder teasingly as she pulled away, grabbing her robe. Smiling as her blush faded, she said, “Fine, but I want coffee first.” She walked out of the room heading for the coffee pot with gusto, and he soon followed. Knox grinned as she sashayed her hips teasingly as she left the room. That woman… he thought to himself as he pulled on his jeans to follow her. He sat down at the kitchen counter and watched her move around the small kitchen. She was lovely with her hair a rat's nest, no make-up, and just that thin robe that barely covered anything. He couldn’t help but notice everything about her. His thoughts returned to her statement about the club needing more than rumors. And he pulled out his phone and texted Reaper: “Club meeting, tonight.” “Smart boss. They’re gonna want answers. I’ve tired, but I think it's gonna need you.” “Understood.” Knox thought about what they both were saying this morning, and he turned to Tess as he put his phone back in his pocket. “Smart thinking. They’re gonna watch you regardless. Better they see who you actually are instead of what they imagine.” “I think you're right about waiting to go; I think we need the time too. Sometimes I just get logistics in my head and want to solve problems that don’t even need solving yet.” He admitted as he took his cup from her. She smiled at his understanding. “I wasn’t in a hurry for us to take off anyway; we just got settled here, but I understand your need for closure and to make it permanent by knowing I’m here, all here.” She smiled at him as she pulled biscuits out of the oven that he didn’t even see go in. He watched as she heated the gravy, then turned to the biscuits and poured it over them. She handed him a plate and said. “Here you go, this ought to replenish your strength. Big guy.” She giggled as she sat her plate next to his and came around to join him. Adrian cut into a biscuit as he considered everything. The morning light spilled across the small counter bar between them. “We stay through the weekend. Club meeting tonight, let them see you. Then we move on the trailer relocation Monday morning. It will give you time to prepare mentally for the drive.” He glanced at her, his expression settled. “Besides, I want you comfortable here first. Not running from one place to the next. You came looking for roots, yeah? Can’t build those if we’re always moving. I know it’s still short, but it feels like the right thing to do for everyone.” His hand reached over and brushed her fingers briefly before pulling back. “The guys will respect that too. That you’re not being dragged around like some prize.” She looked over at him. “Or like something that you’re trying to hide.” She took a bite of her biscuits and gravy. “Just eat; we got s**t to do,” she giggled as she put another bite in her mouth. His mouth curved into something that might be a smile; it was a rare enough expression that it changed his entire face. “Yes, Ma'am.” They finished their meal in silence until Tess got up and put the dishes into the dishwasher and said, “Ok we need to get cleaned up.” Adrian smiled as he handed her his plate and took the last sip of his coffee. “Right then. I guess I should find out about the ETA on my clothes.” He pulled out his phone and texted Reaper: “ETA and some clean clothes getting ready to take a shower... kinda need them.” “They're 15 mins out; they should be to about the bridge by now, left over 10 mins ago.” “Copy that.” He looked back to Tess and said: “Let me help with this mess; we still got about 10 mins before a prospect delivers my things.” They cleaned up their breakfast mess, and as they finished, a knock came at the door. After retrieving his things, they set out for the bathroom. But before they reached the door, his hands slid down to her thighs, his fingers brushed the soft flesh beneath the robe, and he said, “Club meeting’s not until tonight. We’ve got hours.” He pulled her toward him and whispered into her ear, “Why do we get to know each other even better?” She sighed and leaned into his touch, “As you wish, Prez.” That title coming out of her mouth did something to him, and soon they were lost in white hot passion. The club, the move, and all the demands of the outside world could wait. This is where it all began between these two people in this trailer, and nothing was going to disturb that.
