Good riddance. That should have been my sentiments over Courtney quitting Frost Industries. Instead, I was stewing over the whole thing, questioning what was truly between Adrian and me. With good reason, though.
Somehow, I knew that whatever she'd made this out to be, wasn't the whole story— and she'd find a way to drag Adrian along. Manipulative witch!
