Drew took a deep breath. After their passionate moments together, Drew had been swept off by some maids and given a bath. They washed and rinsed her body, taking great care in cleaning up any smell of s*x left on her. Once that was completely, they helped her dry off and sat her in front of her vanity. One maid worked effortlessly to put some eyeshadow, mascara, eyeliner and lipgloss on her, while another took tedious care in braiding her hair into a crown on her head. A third maid came in carrying a dress. Drew glanced up and examined the gown as it was hung up. It had swirls of glittery silver and gold all throughout. It was form fitting, with a sweetheart neckline and sleeves that were attached only underneath the arms. The sleeves ran from just beneath her shoulders and down to her wrists. The maids then helped Drew into the dress, carefully making sure to help her with the sleeves as they were a tad tricky to get on. Then they gave her a pair of silver flats, which she slipped on. Drew stared at herself in the mirror and gasped. The maids had certainly known what they were doing. There were occasional strands of hair that hung down around her head from her crown braid. The dress fit her snugly, accentuating her features and hiding features she wasn’t particularly fond of. She took a deep breath and departed the bathroom. The maids curtsied and exited the room as Noah came back in. He was dressed in an immaculat royal uniform. And damn it, if the navy blue and yellows didn’t look down right sexy on him. She bit her lower lip, mainly out of habit and that caused Noah to growl. “f**k you’re gorgeous.” He whispered under his breath. He walked over and held his hand out to her. “Shall we?” Drew smiled. She took Noah’s hand and nodded. “Yes.” She murmured. She felt like she could tackle the entire world with Noah at her side. Noah led Drew down to the throne room. He nodded to the guards who proceeded to open the doors. He then led his mate inside, his arm that had been through hers now shifted to slide over the small of her back, holding her as close as possible.  Drew gasped at the golden haired man standing in the middle of the throne room with the king. She covered her mouth with her hands. Tears immediately gathered in her eyes. She wasn’t sure how she knew, but she just… had this sense that this man was her father. She pulled away from Noah, who let go of her reluctantly. She ran towards the man and threw her arms around his neck. “Daddy?” She whispered under her breath. Tears were now spilling down her face, smudging her perfect mascara. Helios enclosed his arms around Drew and pulled her tight to his body. “Arianthe.” He murmured, “My sweet little girl.” He grasped her a little tighter. Drew lost it. She buried her face into his neck and started to sob. “Didn’t you want me?” She asked, the pain apparent in her voice as it cracked and broke with the agony of the question and her hurt. Helios sighed. “Your mother and I certainly wanted you.” He whispered to her, “But we could not raise you. Not with the one who was after you, is still after you.” he gave her a small squeeze. He closed his eyes tightly. “Aphrodite has a funny way with mates.” He murmured. “In spite of your mother and I, she gave you two.” He sighed and pulled back, pressing his forehead to his daughter’s. She was considerably shorter than him, but he didn’t mind. “However, your second mate is dangerous, and you cannot fall for the bond between you two.” He held her face gently. He then leaned forward and kissed her forehead. “We gave you your gifts in full to try to combat your second mate. He is evil, pure evil.” He whispered into her ear, then kissed her forehead again and brushed his fingers against her face. “Your mother will visit you tonight. Be ready for her.” Helios smiled to his daughter, who nodded weakly.
