"Sorry girls, need to go home. We'll hang out again some other time," I told my friends after school when they were persuading me to go have a snack. Although I would love to do that they understand that I can't when my mother tells me to go home.
Mother demands that I take a car a school but I told her no. It's so not low key.
So here I am waiting at a bus stop. It's a bit of a tussle but definitely low key.
I open the door to pur house as gentle as I possibly can. I don't really want to announce that I'm home. Too much drama.
But alas, she heard me of course.
"You're home! Your dress is ready. Change now and do your hair and make up dear. Make it good." My mother ordered. We're suppose to be going at a welcoming party at the hotel. She told me I'm gonna meet my fiancé there.
Ever since I was a child she always tells me that I'm gonna marry Lance Knight when I grow up. But up until now that I'm already Twenty years old I haven't met the guy. Haven't even seen his face. That's fine I guess. I would never defy my mother even though she's a little obsessed sometimes. Ever since my daddy left her she became a bit crazy to control me. And being a good daughter that wants her to be happy I let her.
