Chapter EighteenThe Copycat Killers At 8 AM, New Yorkers were crowding into a Manhattan-bound A Train on the Jay Street-Borough Hall platform at downtown Brooklyn. They had used the connection for many decades, catching the F Train from South Brooklyn to where they switched to the A Train to commute to their Manhattan jobs. It was a time-honored route that allowed Brooklynites to work in NYC in districts from Wall Street to Columbus Circle.
