“WHY don’t you want to tell what’s happening here to your parents, Ayana?” Manang Belen asked. “Don’t let him do this to you.”
They were in the kitchen and since the kitchen covered by the wall glass, they can see Gavin with Sophia in the garden. The two were sitting on the grass while Gavin’s hands were encircled on Sophia’s waist. That image was like a sharp blade that cuts her heart into thousands of pieces.
“I can’t set him free.” Her voice was almost a whisper.
Manang Belen tapped her shoulder and worriedness was written on her face. “He doesn’t respect you anymore as he brings his mistress here. This isn’t right, Ayana.”
