Bella POV

Waking up, I felt refreshed it has been a while since I have felt safe. I still don't understand why my parents and I were kicked out of the pack. No one told me anything. Then for them to just leave me alone in the forest. I am only 15. How did they expect me to survive. If it wasn't for Anna and her wolf Nova, I would be dead. I owe them my life.

Slowly moving a way from Anna, so I wouldn't wake her, I moved to the entrance of the cave to get some water. Filling up the water bottles Anna had, so we have some water when she wakes. I just set at the entrance, enjoying the quiet thinking about everything. Kicked out of the pack, parents left me alone in the forest, shifting for the first time, getting attacked by rouges, and Anna saving me. That is a lot for a 15 year old. I felt Edan stirring in my head.

Bella: Edan, are you feeling better?

Edan: Yes, I am so glad you are safe. Sorry I couldn't help more. Shifting can take a toll on us.

Bella: It's not your fault, and you kept us alive.

Edan: Anna and Nova are special, I am happy they found us.

Bella: Me too. Are you okay with us staying with them?

Edan: Yes, I think it would be great to stay with them. It feels right, like we are meant to be with them.

I felt something on my shoulder and jumped around. Anna was standing there with her hands up.

Anna: Sorry, I didn't mean to scare you. I tried to get your attention.

Bella: It's okay. I was talking to Edan and thinking of everything that has happened.

Anna: I understand. A lot has happened to you. Is Edan feeling better now.

Bella: Yes, she is well rested. She says, shifting for the first time and fighting the rouges, which took a toll on us.

Anna: If you don't mind, how old are you?

Bella: 15

Anna: Oh, Edan must have sinced that you needed her. That's why you shifted.

Bella: Yes, will we be okay?

Anna: Yes, all of your sinces will increase, and you will get stronger with time and training.

Bella: How will I train?

Anna: We will work on it, but first, we need to find a safe place to stay.

I handed Anna some water, and then she moved back over to the blanket, giving me space. It's like she knew I needed to process everything. I wonder where we will go from here, I know Anna is trying to get far away from something or someone.

Anna POV:

I let Bella be and moved back to the blanket. Me and Nova have to figure out where we will go next. We have been heading south, but I get this feeling like we need to head north for a little while. I can hear Nova agreeing with me. She thinks the moon goddess is trying to send us that way. I still can't believe she came to me in a dream.

After some time, I tell Bella we need to eat and get some more sleep before we head out again. I look through the bag to see what all I have left. A few cans of spaghetti and meatballs, beef jerky, and some can fruit. Bella walks over, and I had her a can of GG spaghetti and meatballs to eat while I have the other can.

Anna: We are going to have to look for a town soon. We'll need more stock, I know we can hunt when we shift if we run out. But we will need some human food also.

Bella: Yeah, maybe we can find a small town. Where are we heading from here?

Anna: I have a feeling we need to go north, I feel like someone else may need my help.

Bella: Okay, I am with you

After eating, I walk to the waterfall to wash my hands and splash some water on my face before laying down again. I tell Bella to wake me if she wakes before me.
