INTENSIFY - 003

NICHOLAS JADEN I wiped my freed hands on my jeans, the nurse was cracked to the core, she was a paranormal decayed set of bones. I had finished her off in one hour and fed my hunger that she initiated by flirting with me. She couldn't resist my looks, and she wasn't the only one when my eyes met the blues that belonged to another pearly girl, who took her time to assess me dumping the nurse as a lesson to her blonde friend in the middle of the lame hospital. They didn't care when they left the hospital unattended. I left the cameras for them to acknowledge how far I would go. The girl didn't try to act shocked, she normalized it by clapping her hands at me. "Cool design on her hair," she appeased as she pointed to the brunette that lost all of her hair; her bald head coated with blood, forming a pool between me and the stranger. She had wide eyes that could murder anyone along with her pallid set of teeth that unveiled her secret weapon; her smile. My definite eyes caught in a second and I had concluded that she was everything I didn't like. "Do you want the same for you?" I rhetorically asked. She copied my stubborn stance, and she paused before she opened her plump lips again. "I would like to keep my hair," she commented, "and I want to help you with the masked men, you will get me in return," she offered casually, her eyes on her nails and back up to mine steadily. She was f****d up and delusional. "I don't need anyone's help, I don't even want you," I seethed through clenched teeth, her audacity irked me and I wanted to handle her out of here. She scoffed. "You sure do, big boy, my charm can make anyone do whatever I want," she stated. She stepped on the blood pool, not caring if she ruined her boots from the blood that splashed. Her chest was against mine as I dropped the nurse's head from my hold, bright aqua eyes held my gaze boldly and she smiled. Fuck, her smile could make a priest retire. "See, I told you so," she whispered when I almost got hypnotized to kiss her, I shook my head once, I was stunned at her power to manoeuvre anyone's mind by a f*****g smile. "What the hell was that?" I got furious that I fell to the bait, I wouldn't have thought that a girl would ever tantalize me, yet she managed with her boastful eyes. "You need me, admit it," she sang mockingly, as she flicked my nose and I slapped her hand away. "I don't," I protested, but I knew I lost the fight when she charmed me once again to follow her out of the hospital. "I know just what you need." She mesmerized me by her strong hand that enclasped around mine when we walked out to the crisp evening air. The dire need for revenge returned, my body worked up on more adrenaline rush, my knuckles were red and my whole fit was pure blood. I had to plan this through, the whole case depended on me. I was the only one that they let go. The question marks faded away when she almost pushed me into her car. "We need to get you out of here, what would you have done without me?" she ranted when she normally flicked her hands to the group of police that came just as we drifted off to another road without anyone noticing. She was in command, and I didn't f*****g like it one bit. Whenever I wanted to deteriorate her control, she would bewitch me again. As her luscious curls bounced when she raised her hair to a fresh ponytail, I found myself curious to her side profile, her soft pointed nose brightened underneath the streetlight, her eyes would dim and lighten at the same time when she parked. She was a sight to behold, but I was going to set my focus on what I had lost. "There you go, that's your house now," we both walked out of the car to inspect the rotten old house that had dents with cobwebs. "No f*****g way," I cursed underneath my breath, I didn't want to involve the unexpected stranger into what belonged to me. "It's either that or the pops," she clicked her tongue with a shrug, I fought the urge to kill her, her attitude was not what I needed for my revenge. I certainly didn't need her in any of this. "Look, whatever your name is," I narrowed my eyes at her, my body shivering, but I didn't care. "I can handle my case, so leave me the f**k alone," I coldly muttered. "No can do, babyboy, I am bored and I can't say no to new entertainment," she had an automatic response like she planned. I pulled my hair in frustration, forgetting that I had blood on my hands and ripped jeans. "Go find another entertainment, you won't butt into my plan or I will kill you." She laughed. My eyebrows furrowed at the hysterical girl in fury. "That was a funny one," she commented, her leg kicked open the door to the rotten house, there was a carpet that had a couch with matching green pillows. It reeked of sweat; it seemed like a worker house with old wooden table and chairs around. "So, this is what you will live in until we figure out the case," My eyes went to the spiders who made love on the web back to her eyes. "Also, I am Maddie, the girl you will fall in love with," I crossed my arms at her statement. "That's where you are wrong, if you can't find anybody to love you, then something must be wrong with you." A fleeting hurt passed through before she went into her bad girl persona, that wasn't going to work with me. She smiled. "You will stay here."
