Tom left McCready standing there in the cold morning, and for once, McCready stood there – all alone. Tom couldn’t help but see the irony in that as he disappeared down the sidewalk without a look back. Tom had left McCready alone, and he was surprised to find that after he’d done it, he felt so guilty that it hurt. Jess set up the interview room, forgoing her usual help from Morris, and she was pleased with the results. The room was lit perfectly, with a nice comfortable chair for Tom and a couple of cameras that would capture all of the important angles.
