Morning After Chaos

Alex woke up with a pounding headache, his head throbbing as if a drum was beating inside. His phone was buzzing like crazy on the nightstand, notifications flooding the screen. He groaned, reaching out with a shaky hand to grab it. Both he and the lady from the club last night were completely naked. He squinted and saw a message flashing: **"Coming up in 5 minutes."** His eyes widened. As he tried to sit up, the door opened, it was his manager. Hey, you dared to be sleeping after all the chaos you caused last night? Huh?. The manager’s eyes locked with the lady who was now awake, and he said,’ You need an invitation to f**k off? The lady stood up totally naked, reached for her clothes and hurried out. Take a look at this, he said as he tossed the phone to Alex. Why are you yelling so hard? Alex says as he took the phone, saw a clip and hit play, his heart sank. s**t! It was a clip from last night at the club—him and Jayden pushing each other, shouting, fists clenched. The video was viral already, with comments flooding in. The video’s all over social media now. People are commenting like crazy—. We need to control this or we both done for." Alex stared at the screen, speechless." What the f**k do we do now?" Omg!! First, I’m handling the press. We are trying to subdue them for now, but you know they won’t back down anytime soon. Manager said as he paused and continued, I want you to know—this could ruin everything if we don’t handle it carefully." We have to fund a way **Meanwhile, on Jayden’s side…** Jayden was sitting in a quiet conference room, holding his phone tightly. His mother was calling again. He didn’t want to answer cause he knew what comes next. He glanced at his manager, who was busy typing on his laptop, trying to get ahead of the media frenzy. His mother continued, and he hurriedly picked up the call.” **Jayden (muttering):** "Mom, I’m in a meeting. I can’t talk right now." His manager leaned in. Jayden , listen. The press wants interviews, and this is getting out of control. We need a plan." Suddenly, the team received a call from Alex’s manager. The room went quiet. **Manager (to Jayden’s team):** "They want us to come over and discuss this face-to-face. We need to strategize." Jayden hesitated. **Jayden:** This is all just some stupid stunt." We don’t need to work with them, we can sort it out ourselves. His manager’s tone hardened. **Manager:** "Jayden, your future’s on the line. If we don’t act now, there might be more damage. Trust me, it’s better to control the narrative." It will be better to meet them and work it out since both of you were involved. Reluctantly, Jayden agreed. They headed out to meet Alex’s team. --- **At Alex’s Agency, later that afternoon…** Alex and his manager sat across from Jayden and his team in a neutral office. Tension was thick. **Alex:** "Look, we need to find a way out of this mess cause I’m not about to sabotage my career because someone decided to act stupid." Jayden stood up and said," Act stupid, if anybody is stupid it has to be you for getting yourself too drunk to walk properly.” As Alex was about to stand up, his manager held him back. And Jayden’s manager said, Gentlemen, calm down. "We’re not here to blame. We just need to find a way to fix this. Two ideas so far: one, hold a joint press conference saying it’s all part of an upcoming project; two, release a behind-the-scenes video explaining it was staged for a movie." Alex looked skeptical. **Alex:* "You expect us to pretend this was just acting? People will see through that." **Jayden’s team argued back. **Jayden’s Team Member:** "It’s our best shot at saving face. If we don’t, it’ll only get messier." After a brief argument—Jayden insisting it was a stupid stunt and Alex arguing they should just ignore it—they reached an agreement. Alright, we’ll get a script ready, but in the meantime, prepare for the press conference you guys are going together, Jayden’s manager said as he went out to take a phone call. As both managers shook hands, Jayden watched from the hallway, secretly worried. His mother would never accept such chaos, especially if she finds out he is about to get on a project with her rival’s son. He wondered if this whole mess would tear his family apart or somehow be smoothed over.
