IT ALL JUST KINDA HAPPENED.

The bass from the club’s speakers hit like a punch to the chest, rattling the walls and vibrating through the crowded dance floor. You could feel it beating against your ribs. Neon lights flickered erratically, casting wild shadows over bodies pressed close together, all lost in their own worlds of alcohol, music, and reckless freedom. The air was thick with sweat, perfume, and the scent of tequila—an intoxicating chaos that made it easy to forget everything outside those walls. Alex, super drunk, sat at a table with a few women, laughing and drinking heavily. They were telling him what a great actor he was. Meanwhile, just as Jayden stepped into the room, their eyes locked instantly. Alex’s gaze flicked up from his drink and caught Jayden’s cold, fierce stare. The moment their eyes met, a silent challenge sparked between them—an unspoken acknowledgment of their rivalry. In his drunken state, Alex didn’t notice Jayden approaching from the side of the bar at first. He bumped into him. “Oh s**t, I’m sorry,” Alex said. As he was about to stagger past, Jayden grabbed his arm and said, “Are you blind or something? Can’t you walk properly?” Alex shoved him off and retorted angrily, “I already apologized, damn it! What the f**k do you want me to do, huh, kiss your feet?” Jayden’s eyes flashed with furious contempt as he shoved Alex roughly. “You’ve got to pay for damages.” Alex reached for his wallet, couldn’t find it, and turned back to Jayden. “I’ll have to pay you some other time, or you can put it on my manager. I don’t have my wallet here.” Jayden muttered, “You better pay me back, you drunken idiot.” Alex heard it and fired back, “Who the f**k are you talking to? Huh, mama’s boy?” The insults flew fast and furious, neither holding back. The crowd around them started to notice; some recorded the chaos, others just watched as the two rivals traded barbs, their voices rising over the pounding music. Suddenly, Jayden shoved Alex again, this time with more force, and Alex responded with a shove of his own. “Get lost, you son of a b***h,” Jayden said, eyes blazing. “Make me,” Alex fired back angrily. The bouncer finally stepped in, yanking them apart just before things spiraled out of control. They stared at each other, breathing heavily, their eyes burning with hatred and alcohol. Neither wanted to back down until they eventually broke eye contact. Alex returned to his seat, continuing to drink with the women who had been praising him all night, calling him a badass. “I don’t even like Jayden; he acts like he’s all that, but his mom was basically a w***e who slept with directors back in the day just to keep getting cast as the lead,” one woman said. “Rumor has it that Jayden’s dad isn’t even his biological father, given his mother’s history. I’m so happy you put him in his place,” the other woman added. Alex stood up abruptly, dropped his debit card on the table for them, and zoomed out. “Wait, where are you going? We’re not done yet!” one yelled. “Why does he seem so angry?” “I don’t know, but the good thing is,” the woman said, clutching the black Amex, “we caught a big fish tonight!” They cheered loudly. Alex stood outside smoking while waiting for his chauffeur. When the car arrived, he tossed his cigarette and entered. Before they drove off, he called out to a woman standing nearby, “Hey, you coming?” The woman smirked. He opened the door, she climbed in, and they drove off toward his hotel.
