Iris and Olivia arrive back at Fernyard House they are still taking in that Gregory is alive. Iris pours them both glasses of Brandy. She turns the glass up drinks it, drinks all of it, and pours herself another glass. “If Mariah knew all this time that Gregory was alive, why did she go along with this crazy nonsense?”
Olivia is quiet she is still processing that Boris is her father. She has met him hundreds of times and he has never let on that he’s her father. Iris told her when she was a little girl that Alexis her father died in the war. Now that she thinks about it, Iris never did mention which war. She has never seen any pictures of Alexis. “Mother, why did you lie to me about my father?”
