I closed the door to my room behind me, a wave of exhilaration washing over me as I leaned in on the door. The confrontation with Audrey was replaying over in my head again as if I was living in the situation, and I couldn’t stop the smile that kept creeping onto my face.
For the first time since I joined the pack, I felt like I had finally made the mark I had been wanting to make for the longest. Audrey’s power over the pack was fractured, and I had finally found my voice.
