“Stopping me from fully commuting to you? Did you just ask such a question?” Darien fired back, hiding eyebrows tightly knotted together, making several lines appear between them.
“Of course, I did because I am hell confused as to why you would want to open up about your past, and egg Audrey doesn't consider me as your true mate,” I answered.
