Audrey’s smile did not waver even a bit. “Oh don't get me wrong Darien, I don't doubt that she’s trying. But bringing a Luna goes beyond handling little pressures thrown. It is about understanding the intricacies of pack dynamics,” she paused and shoved a spoonful of pasta into her mouth, “it is about earning the respect of every wolf here.”
It was pretty obvious that I was yet to earn the respect of every wolf, but that shouldn't in any way water down the fact that I had tried to at least earn some of the wolf's respect, mostly after the challenge.
But I guess that was only in my head as the pack members around the table exchanged glances amongst themselves, their silence speaks volumes of the discord Audrey had probably planted about me to them.
