Claire’s Pov
“There are already whispers among the she-wolves,” another voice said, this one was a female but I couldn't tell who she was. “They didn't trust, Claire, I mean a good number of them though as some silly ass still thinks she has something good to offer.”
“How much blinded they are,” Audrey scoffed.
“A good number of them see her as weak and an outsider. Audrey’a right. If we don't act soon, she will rub off her weakness of Darien, weakening his position and the pack will lose their respect for him if that dares happen.”
Audrey let out a small satisfied laugh. “Exactly, that is why the meeting is important. We need to come together and discuss in full how to get ahead of this before it spirals out of control.”
My mind thumped harder as I listened, panic rising in my chest.
