“Into your pack?” I asked in confusion, “Is there something I am missing here? I thought Darien was the Alpha?”
“And so what?” Audrey shot back.
“Then how is this your pack?” I went on, “It belongs to Darien and not you in anyways. I am now a part of his life, so I rightfully belong here.”
Her eyes narrowed down at me, and I knew I’d crossed the line. She slowly got on her feet, her movement was a graceful one that was filled with unspoken threats at the same time.
“You are not part of his life,” she stated, taking several steps closer to me, “You are just a distraction, but a temporal one because I will soon get you kicked out.”
