Chapter 6: Forced Kiss

The dim light of early morning filtered through the curtains as Cheng Xiaoxiao woke up in He Yao's apartment, her body still immersed in the aftermath of last night's dream about Zhong Xiaochuan, full of the wildness and power characteristic of a werewolf. She shook her head, trying to get rid of those heart pounding memories, determined to plunge into a new day.

Upon arriving at the hospital, Cheng Xiaoxiao was assigned to the emergency department, which was her first opportunity to observe and learn about surgery up close. Her mentor was Chief Hu of the Cardiothoracic Surgery Department, a veteran doctor with a strong reputation in the hospital. However, Cheng Xiaoxia was troubled by the rumors in the hospital. Colleagues talk about her background, some say she's a member of the Red Generation, some speculate that she's a young grandmother of a wealthy family, and some think she's the dean's goddaughter. Cheng Xiao Xiao didn't care about this nonsense, she was more concerned about how to improve her medical skills.

After lunch, Cheng Xiaoxiao took a breath of fresh air in the courtyard of the hospitalization department. Under the apricot tree, a beauty sitting in a wheelchair attracted her attention. The woman was beautiful and sad, as if she was telling an ancient and sad story. Cheng Xiao Xiao felt embarrassed, she didn't want to show her vulnerability in front of Zhong Xiao Chuan. She tried to go around him and leave, but Zhong Xiaochuan stopped her. Zhong Xiaochuan's eyes became deep, he suddenly gripped the back of Cheng Xiaoxiao's neck and pulled her towards him. Their lips touched, and Cheng Xiaoxiao felt a wildness and passion unique to werewolves. Zhong Xiaochuan's kiss was both rough and full of skill, making Cheng Xiaoxiao almost unable to resist.

Just then, a voice interrupted their intimacy. A small, gentlemanly man wearing glasses appeared at the doorway of the men's restroom, and he awkwardly pleaded with them to let him out. Cheng Xiaoxia felt ashamed as she realized that she and Zhong Xiaochuan were actually kissing in front of the men's room.

Zhong Xiaochuan lets go of Cheng Xiao Xiao, but he doesn't leave immediately. He reminded Cheng Xiao Xiao that she had posted a question on the internet about how to deal with men who run away after flirting, and he was now demonstrating how to deal with it himself.

Cheng Xiao Xiao was confused and embarrassed, and she denied that she had posted anything like that. However, Zhong Xiaochuan revealed that he knew the poster had the same IP address as him, which made Cheng Xiaoxia unable to refute.
