Chapter 11
Going back home after that, leaving Loren, was strange. We had to reassure each other a hundred times that we weren’t upset with the other. That we still loved each other. That it was just s*x. That nothing had changed.
But everything had changed.
When we got home, paid the babysitter and sent her on her way, we crawled into bed and fell asleep.
We woke up in the middle of the night and had s*x in the traditional missionary position. I don’t remember who started it. The s*x was only okay, but that was fine. We weren’t back to normal, but we had accepted the changes in our marriage.
A whole new world had opened up for us and we were happy to run through that door.
