It had been a year since we had directly heard from Lissa. We weren’t avoiding her. We just weren’t trying to hook up with her any more. We sort of kept tabs on her through f*******: and other social media, but she seemed happy with her boyfriend Marshall.
Neither Gwen nor I were bold enough to suggest that they meet with us for dinner and s*x.
I didn’t see the email from Lissa for at least a day after she sent it. Maybe I was busy, maybe I thought it was something else, but then there it was.
