He looked at the aquatic planet, its surface as blue as the sky of his long-destroyed home. His dark eyes were empty, hands trembling at the thought of destroying yet another world-knowing that countless more would suffer for his cause.
He wanted to stop.
He wanted to give up.
But he couldn't.
This was the only way to force the Creator's hand-to reset all things.
He forced a twitch of a smile and said:
"The Fish Planet... huh. Too bad."
A controlled singularity formed in his palm-small, barely the size of a planet-but powerful enough to drain the oceans, sucking away the water and its people, extinguishing the planet's liquid flame core.
Disgust twisted his chest.
He realized there was no difference between him and the monsters he had once fought-the beings he had despised.
Turning to the surrounding planets, a dark thrill rose within him. Stepping into the massive ball of light-the star itself-he ripped it apart.
The first planet to fall was made of pure adium, a metal so dense it should have been impossible to melt. Yet under his power, it liquefied, along with every living being.
One by one, planets fell until no solar system remained. A cold, empty silence replaced the void.
He raised his eyes to the cosmic darkness, voice trembling with frustration:
"How long will you keep watching? I don't want this... but you forced my hand. Bring them all back. We end this."
Only dead silence answered.
"So be it," he whispered. "I will destroy everything... until nothing remains."
Another portal opened. More planets fell. Innocent lives vanished beneath his unstoppable power. His guilt stained his hands red, but he buried the human part of himself-locking it away-until he achieved his goal.
Far beyond, the Creator watched from the edge of imagination. Kneeling, He prayed for guidance, seeking a way to save the worlds without destroying them entirely.
And then-like a spark breaking the darkness-He saw a child floating in the chaos, dismantling destruction with a thought. Understanding dawned.
The Creator smiled, whispering a silent thanks to the Lord.
